ok, so technically this post is not related to bentwood chairs but it is about Sunday nights beautiful winter sunset. After the most incredible sunny winters day in Sydney, we were fortunate enough to be outdoors at dusk and witness one of the most perfect sunsets. While we're all so busy and caught up in the everyday whirlwind that is 'life', that perfect sunset at the end of a perfect day, really brought home the fact that it's really all about the simple things and simple moments in life.
Now we'll just dwell on that thought for a moment before we rush back to work... :)
Yesterday was EOFY (End of Financial Year) so that must make today NFYD - New Financial Years Day.
Either way, we're celebrating with a great giveaway. Simply head on over to our Facebook Page to enter the comp for you chance to win six bentwood chairs of your choice, valued up to $1260. The comp opens at 9am today.
Good Luck!
And this is the reason that we just love timber in all its shapes and forms. Forever warm and familiar, just like coming home. Like a good wine, timber just gets better with age.
Adele-C had some inspirational collections in Milan - in particular, we absolutley loved the collection designed by Ron Gilad. In his own words, 'While creating pieces for Adele-C, I allowed myself the freedom to play with extreme irony and scale, while maintaining the balance between the useful and the abstract; going all the way to the edge of the cliff but not jumping off'.
Beautiful.

In case you did not know, you can customise any of our bentwood chairs with an upholstered fabric seat pad. Our standard range is Warwick Macroseude but we also have alternate fabrics available which change from time to time. One of the most stunning fabrics we have at the moment is Maharam - Checker Split - Black and White. We've just upholstered a set of black Bon Uno bentwood chairs for a customer in Melbourne and they look amazing. Hmmm, think we need some for the office!
